This exhibition presents a new body of work that reimagines Tibetan and Himalayan Buddhist art forms through a contemporary visual language. The works invite viewers to reflect on timeless human values — compassion, interconnectedness, and inner human value — and consider their relevance in today’s world.

3:00 – 4:30 PM — The Art of Awakening: A Conversation with Anay Ngawang Chodak

In partnership with The Tibet Fund, join Anay and Elena Pakhoutova, Senior Curator at the Rubin Museum of Art, for a conversation exploring how sacred Buddhist art forms and philosophies are reinterpreted for a modern audience. The discussion will highlight how Anay’s work expresses universal human values—such as compassion, interconnectedness, and inner wisdom—through a contemporary visual language.

5:00 – 5:30 PM — Live Performance by Tenzin Choegyal

Experience an intimate concert by the Grammy-nominated Tibetan musician Tenzin Choegyal, whose music bridges traditional Tibetan sounds with a global contemporary spirit.
